Developing

For most organizations, a "One Size Fits All" approach only addresses 75-80% of the actual needs, leaving some critical details to chance.

What makes Microsoft Project 2003® so flexible and adaptable? First, Project 2003 is tightly integrated with Microsoft Office, so it already works with the most common desktop productivity tools.

Second, Project Server is part of the .NET Server platform, linking it to many other systems such as messaging, collaboration, and Decision Support Systems. In addition, available links and gateways into Microsoft Great Plains® provides a winning solution for Professional Services Automation.

Project Incentives' .NET certified solution developers build interfaces to other information systems, creating a seamless, reliable data interface.

The Process

Project Incentives offers an easy to follow, five-step process for the implementation of an Enterprise Project Management System (EPM). Based on the Microsoft's Enterprise Implementation Framework, and specifically designed for Microsoft Project 2002/ 2003 Server, Project 2002 / 2003 Desktop, as well as other integration tools, PI's process incorporates the necessary steps to achieve Enterprise Integration of the Project Management system.

The five basic steps are:

The first step is assessing the organization to establish a baseline from which to plan the overall implementation process.

With over 500,000 man-hours of experience building custom interfaces, custom curriculum, and tailored solutions, the Microsoft and PMI Certified Experts of Project Incentives are qualified, experienced, and ready to assist.

PI's Educators, Consultants, Technical Architects, and Developers formulate and build solutions like:

  • Contextually and situationally tailored educational curriculum.
  • Integrated instructional materials within the Microsoft Project Guide.
  • Automatic Trouble Reporting features for critical projects.
  • Complete One-Button Executive Dashboards, Decision Support Systems, and OLAP Analysis Functions.

PI's development team carefully examines the business case for a particular function, looking to maximize the usage of standard tools and features already available within the toolset. The objective is to provide timely, accurate data while preserving the system upgradeability.

In summary, the experienced staff of Project Incentives can deliver Project Reporting data in nearly any format, to nearly any device. Speak with a PI Regional Manager to find out how PI can help your organization.
