"Mass Customization" of a Secure User Interface

e•Plan is designed to be simple and complete based on each user's needs. User Profiles, combined with Role Definitions, yield an interface wherein each user sees and acts only on data applicable to them. ePlan's sophisticated security system keeps unauthorized users from accessing private payroll data through multiple application and system level security layers. e•Plan stores complete User Profiles for all active and inactive employees (and contractors) receiving or affecting Incentive Pay Plan elements. From these User Profiles, the system knows what information, features, data, and screens to display for the logged-in user. For example: Project Managers and Team Resources only see their individual information with limited reporting capabilities. But, Resource Managers see data for their entire team, have comprehensive cross-team performance reporting, and can use drill-down reporting to view individual personnel performance.

Remote User Support

Virtual office employees, mobile team members, and remote office resources all access e•Plan through a simple browser interface. No need for special programs & no special network access required. The same corporate network that provides access to e-mail and internal web sites works for ePlan. In addition, the flexible power of e•Plan means that critical incentive pay information can even be delivered directly over the Internet in a safe and secure transmission.

Full Support for Industry Standards

e•Plan works with other industry standard products: browser-based ERP solutions from PeopleSoft and J.D. Edwards; ODBC, SQL and OLE-DB compliant database reporting products such as Crystal Reports, F9, Actuate, Hyperion and others; and Sales Force Automation solutions from Siebel Systems. In most cases, e•Plan can be fully integrated with any existing system, including legacy applications.

Organizational Heirarchy

With e•Plan, it's easy to define your compensation hierarchy and ensure incentive credits or revenue flows properly through the entire organization. Multi-resource split incentives flow accordingly, team-based results automatically flow to each active team member, and managers at each level accurately receive credit for their team's activities. Integrated Assistant

e•Plan provides on-line, real-time information that keeps the Compensation Team and the Plan Participants informed and aware. The Integrated Assistant provides context-sensitive explanations and directions while using e•Plan. The News and Notes bulletin board keeps users informed about Plan changes, system availability, etc. Finally, the Plan is indexed and dynamically displayed on-line. Updates and revisions are quickly and easily made available to the field, and special Q&A-style presentations help team members at every level to better understand the Plan.
