Assessments

"It's not a case of where we've been. It's a case of where we are - and most importantly - where we're going."
- Anonymous

Assessments create the required baseline to determine the needs of the organization, as well as building an accountability basis for the performance criteria of Project Incentives.

Knowing where to start is crucial. The critical path to successful Project Management includes the determination of the skill level of an organization.

  • What should the focus of a Project Management team be?
  • Are the tools currently in use right for the job?
  • Is existing project management methodology functioning?
  • What are the necessary activities to cover knowledge and system delta?

Project Incentives provides Assessments and Consulting services from which to baseline an organization before moving forward with an Enterprise Project Management solution.

PI has developed several different types of assessments to help a company determine where to focus their initial efforts. Proper tools can help assess management methodologies, the PM Maturity of a Project Management staff, or profile the skill set of a team and map the personalities to identify conflicting areas that may derail projects down the road. PI can provide assessments in a variety of ways: on-line, on-site, or via telephone. Conducting interviews with employees, on-site investigations and implementing methodology gap analyses will provide a accurate assessment of an organization's current situation.

Project Incentives will prepare a management report that clearly identifies a company's strengths and weaknesses, as well as a recommended solutions. The solutions will include options to improve what works and fix limitations through recommendations and suggestions.
